I Love Tree Houses
I really do. Some day I want one of my own, built into a squat tropical tree in Kuaui. That is my dream. To give you some ideas of what I want:
Nothing too fancy – I like a house with flaws.
I like whimsy – crazy layers and pulley systems and bridges are definitely my cup of tea.
Something organic would suit me very well – a house that looks as though it could be one with the tree, where the trunk shoots up through the living room and shelters the entire house.
I want a house that’s open and still private, that shelters me from the world while still letting me be a part of it.
